Other options include: use chalk to draw and decorate eggs on the sidewalk; create an egg shape using white construction paper and either color the paper egg or rip up colored construction paper to make a collage of colors and designs.

Song:

WEDNESDAY
Scripture: Matthew 26:1-5, 14-16
Activities:
- Discuss Judas Iscariot’s decision to betray Jesus; even though it is disappointing that he decided to betray Him, without this decision, we wouldn’t have Easter. Above all things, God is sovereign and all things work for His good.
- Discuss good decisions vs. bad decisions and how they can affect you and those around you. Ultimately Jesus forgave Judas Iscariot; this sets a good example for us to follow in forgiving those who hurt us.
- Gather 30 coins to be a visual representation for the betrayal price

- Take some time today as a family to praise Jesus together through worship and prayer, thanking Him for His sacrifice and love for us. Pray about who your family can share this Good News with, as the Great Commission instructs.
- Since this day is usually busy for most families with church service and celebrations, the activities are simpler/shorter than the previous days. Today is about reinforcing all you’ve talked about and learned this week
Songs:
“Forever” by Kari Jobe; “Because He Lives” by The Worship Initiative; “Praise” by Elevation Worship
We would love for you to celebrate Easter with us at Southwest Community Church on Sunday, April 20th, at 11:00am. Following the worship service we will be having an egg hunt for the kids. All are welcome!
